Hyperbaric chamber

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy consists of being in an environment where the air pressure is two times higher than normal atmospheric pressure conditions. In such an environment, blood oxygen levels are considerably higher than when breathing pure oxygen at normal atmospheric pressure. The additional oxygen helps fight against bacteria and also stimulates the release of substances called growth factors and stem cells, which promote healing.
